This video represents the begining of the study of the battle of Cannae, probably the most important battle of the Second Punic War.
In this video there are demonstrated the maining facts of the battle itself, and, mainly, the strategy used by Hannibal against the two roman generals: consuls Lucius Aemilius Paullus and Gaius Terentius Varro. It's important to refer that this battle taked place in the year 216 BC.
