Second World War - Chapter 1

So, now we will begin with the "study" of the Second World War (sorry about the supension of the study of the Battle of Cannea, but I have this topic prepared). This will be presented by chapters, so you will need to chose by order to know all the stories. In this chapter, I will explain you the causes of this great conflict.

Chapter 1 - Causes of the Second World War

The second world war (knowed as World War II) was a global military conflict, the joining of what had initially been two separate conflicts. The first began in Asia in 1937 as the Second Sino-Japanese War; the other began in Europe in 1939 with the German invasion of Poland. It had ocorred beetween the years 1939 and 1945.

The mainly causes were:

- the errors and imperfections of the Treaty of Versailles (sign after germany defeat in the First World War);

- the efects of the economic crise of 1929 (that afected almost Europe);

- the conflict of ideas beetween the fascism, in one side, and the democratic regimes in the other.
